About This Game The year is 2051. Location: SATAZIUS, a long-abandoned planet. The cruiser Agano was on patrol when it was attacked and stricken by a confederacy of space pirates that had established a base on SATAZIUS. The pirates attacked the Agano intending to steal the assault ship ‘Trafalgar’ that was stowed aboard the Agano, but the Trafalgar made a successful emergency escape. The crew of the Trafalgar calculated the probability of successfully escaping the pirate overrun planet at 0.02%; the probability of charging into and successfully destroying the pirate base was 1%. Taking the higher probability escape plan, the crew of the Trafalgar turned their ship toward the pirate horde and began their charge into the heart of SATAZIUS.SATAZIUS is an awesome old school side-scrolling arcade shooter by accomplished indie developer ASTRO PORT (Gigantic Army, Armed Seven, Supercharged Robot Vulkaiser), featuring an arsenal of 13 types of upgradeable weapons, power-ups, obstacles and boss encounters that arcade veterans will enjoying getting to grips with. Customize your ship by selecting two side weapons which can be cycled and deployed at any time during the action, and a charge attack to unleash massive destruction. There is a plethora of enemy ships to shoot down, tight spaces to navigate, power ups to grab, and bonuses to acquire. Featuring great stage design, a thumping techno soundtrack, fast and outstanding action, old school graphics and giant bosses, SATAZIUS is a true throwback to old-school arcade shoot ‘em ups, replete with homages which will be instantly recognizable to fans of arcade shooters.Key features:13 upgradeable weapons to choose from4 difficult levels allowing accessibility for new players while challenging veterans as wellVaried and exciting stage design Massive bossesWinner of the August 2008 Jikkyo Play Contents Award 7aa9394dea Title: SATAZIUSGenre: Action, IndieDeveloper:ASTRO PORTPublisher:Nyu MediaRelease Date: 16 Dec, 2011 SATAZIUS Activation Code [portable Edition] satazius steam. arcade satazius. satazius space 1999. satazius pc download. satazius cheats. descargar satazius. satazius download. satazius pc. satazius review. stasis analisis. satazius steam. stasis analisis. satazius game. satazius space 1999. arcade satazius. descargar satazius. satazius pc. satazius review. stasis pc full descargar. satazius cheats. satazius download. satazius game. stasis pc full descargar. satazius free download. satazius pc download. satazius free download If you want a new shoot 'em up specifically in the vein of Gradius, you'll find it here. While the graphics and music might be a little cheesy or off-putting, the weapons, stages, and bosses will literally blow you away, and you'll love every second of it. I've started a new run maybe thirty times and only recently beat it, so expect plenty of deaths and game overs, but pushing yourself a little harder to reach the next insane boss or stage is totally worth it. The weapons are pretty standard, but the power-up system is just different enough to catch you off guard when you finally bite it and lose a few points and your weapons power down. Thankfully, while the game is pretty hardcore and the bosses are totally nuts, there are several checkpoints and mid-points during stages and boss fights that give you a few upgrades so you're not totally ruined when you twitched into a ceiling or missile just seconds from a victory.. Good, but hard.. This game is aiight. Not great, but not bad either. Some things that bugged me:-- It's basically one hit and you're dead. You can get a shield that allows you to take one extra hit, but that's the most you can get.-- There's no way to pause mid-game.-- There's no graphics settings whatsoever.-- The graphics reminded me of the Super Nintendo. I guess that's cool, if that's your thing.-- Sometimes there can be so many explosions going off at the same time that it can be difficult to keep track of where you are.-- You can definitely tell that this is an arcade port. You get 10 continues for the whole game session. If you don't beat the game without using them all, then you go back to square one.Like I said, it's an okay shoot 'em up. I had fun playing it, but the points listed above made it a little frustrating too. It didn't outright suck, so I guess I recommend it.. Side-scrolling shooter in the vein of Gradius and R-Type. May be a decent shooter, but I wouldn't know because I'm sick and ♥♥♥♥ing tired of games that force analog control instead of allowing the use of the d-pad.. A tough damn good horizontal scrolling shoot em up in the best traditions of Gradius\/R-type etc. Thumping amazing soundtrack, really good visuals and tight gameplay. Nice special weapons, the action is hectic but not completely bullet hell which I appreciate.Love this game, always play with the volume turned up to 11 :). Tralfagar, scramble!Though there really isn't much dialogue or story to the game, the gist of SATAZIUS involves pirate-infested planet Satazius, and assault ship Tralfagar's crew taking immeasurable odds on to wade through fleet after fleet of enemies, and destroy the pirates' base situated there. The customization of the game is quite interesting. You're granted a Main weapon, which will always fire when the button is held down, and two Sub weapons, which you can switch between, and will fire alongside your main weapon. (The homing orbs in particular are my favorite, possibly because I'm no crack shot when it comes to these sort of games.) In addition, you're given a more powerful Charge weapon, which you can fire off once you've fired with your Main/Sub weapons long enough. Now, to actual gameplay. On the field, you'll find powerups that augment your currently equipped weapons (however, the Sub weapon powerup will only affect the currently active Sub weapon, so be careful!), speed, score, and a powerup that will generate a shield around you, effectively making you invincible for one shot. Oh, and like most traditional shooters, one shot will mean the end for you. (Alternatively, you can crash into a wall, like me.) However, you're given three more retries, until it's the end. Make those count.... Or don't, and finish the game without dying, like the professional shooter veteran that you are.Alternatively, don't do that either, because even if you're skilled at the genre, it's a pretty brutal game.. It's a well-made traditional STG (as in a non bullet hell) unlike Astro Port's other STG Super Robot Vulkaiser (which is bullet hell). It's enough like Gradius that I would certainly recommend it if you are a fan of that series. It features a very simalar aesthetic and shares some of the retro design philosophies (I.E being in the right place at the right time) that made the earlier games irritating, but it's nowhere near as unforgiving. You choose your weapons as you would in Gradius, a primary, two switchable sub-weapons and powerful charge weapon. Your weapons are pretty much ripped straight from other STGs. Gradius, mainly, but you even have the Hunter from Thunder Force. The powerups work differently. Intead of collecting cores from enemies to highlight a bar you collect them from stationary boxes and each core has a letter on it. S for sheild, and a P for power which powers up either you main, your equipped Sub, or your charge. Bosses are also exteremely easy. You won't need to aim for the core and a few of them will even go down with a single hit from your charge weapon.. What Ether Vapor is missing - power ups and upgrades - does exist in Satazius, and its this game's main advantage for shump fan. Graphic is way behind, but the gameplay makes up for it. Featuring the same element, both, bullet hell, and makes shumps real fun. Also the OST is kind of lackluster in my opinion - Ether Vapor's much much better with its ambivalent sound and gives the real feeling of Japanese game (which I prefer for this genre). You select main and sub weapons before the stage starts, during the progress you'll find up powerups and upgrades for the weapons. The more you collect, the better. The ship you control is one hit dead if you touch any obstacle or enemies' bullets, although you can find rather common shield kit to give you one chance to survive.Boss battles are real hell especially in latter stages. You might find yourself dying alot - and using continues alot - during the process. We have plenty of continues (9) but don't get satisfied as the deeper you go, the harder the game is.Controller support is quite good and that's what I expect to have here. Both Dinput and Xinput are supported so there's no need to worry. And yes, game is better with gamepad than keyboard.Overall I'm quite satisfied with the game. Recommended.
