It might take a little longer if you're learning, or a lot shorter if you jump into a pit of spikes.Warning: do not jump into a pit of spikes.HELLO! Would it be impolite if I were to nom on your armor and weapons? That shiny metal looks oh so delicious. Oh --pardon me, how rude of me not to introduce myself! I am Glooping Ooze, one of the many extremely polite denizens of the dungeons in this area. I even have my own card:Like all cards in One Deck Dungeon, mine is full of colored boxes, and HEY! What's the idea with all those arrows. Ugh, adventurers. So rude. So very very rude. I suppose you're rolling all your dice, attempting to fill in as many boxes as possible. For every one you don't fill, I'm going to make you pay for this arrow nonsense, in hearts and time! Precious time!If you manage to get past me somehow, you'll be able to take Armor Crush as a skill, or add that magic icon on the left to your stats, or take the three experience lanterns in the upper-right.Despite your arrowful attitude, I welcome you to the world of One Deck Dungeon. Adventure awaits! One Deck Dungeon is an officially licensed product of “One Deck Dungeon” from Asmadi Games. 7aa9394dea Title: One Deck DungeonGenre: Adventure, Indie, RPG, StrategyDeveloper:Handelabra Games Inc.Publisher:Handelabra Games Inc.Release Date: 18 May, 2018 One Deck Dungeon Crack Pirates Bay one deck dungeon how to play. one deck dungeon wiki. one deck dungeon pdf. one deck dungeon tabletop simulator. one deck dungeon yetis cavern. one deck dungeon on ipad. one deck dungeon potions. one deck dungeon tips. one deck dungeon cheat engine. one deck dungeon vs friday. one deck dungeon forest of shadows unboxing. one deck dungeon vs 5 minute dungeon. one deck dungeon hall of statues. one deck dungeon 1.5 rules. one deck dungeon 401 games. one deck dungeon hybrid deck. one deck dungeon mud golem. one deck dungeon hero progression. one deck dungeon dice. one deck dungeon steam. one deck dungeon 1.5. one deck dungeon vs roll player. one deck dungeon number of cards. one deck dungeon classes. one deck dungeon apk unlocked. one deck dungeon 2 Tl;DR: Slay the Spire's fiddlier, less-realized cousin.I was lightly disappointed. It's a very fussy game, with lots of details and powers that the tutorial doesn't do an especially good job of explaining. There's also a great deal of RNG, especially at the game's beginning, when you don't have any powers to mitigate bad luck. Often the best choice after a bad start is to quit and begin again. More damningly, the beginning just isn't a lot of fun. Slay the Spire, which shares a lot of DNA with this game, shares a similar problem with its opening, but StS gets you out of the early game quickly, wheras ODD seems to wallow in it.I do think the game is _reasonably_ fun once you've gotten somewhat outfitted with powers, but by that time you're in mid to late game, and the game's almost over. The game is at its most fun when you have a lot of powers, and a mode that managed to be less stingy with the fun bits might be worth considering. Currently, the early rounds are just Yatzee. Roll big numbers, place big numbers. Don't roll big numbers? Lose, or worse, get hobbled so that it's very unlikely that you'll win. Literally: the tutorial tells you to you always try to roll big-- but with out any tools to manipulate the dice, this doesn't mean anything! The game isn't quite there yet, but it is early access. I think there's something fun inside of this game, it just hasn't been fully realized yet.. Update: Now that there are campaign modes and progress tracking, this port of one deck dungeon is nearly flawless. Highly recommend it; see original review below for description of the game.Original review: I have loved playing the physical version of one deck dungeon with my girlfriend, as it's a (moderately) simple to learn (but very difficult to master) card-based dungeon crawl that only takes 20-30min to play. We especially love the campaign mode! That being said, the game is very difficult, especially on the first floor, and you can lose even with the best possible strategy because of poor dice rolls. If that is something you don't like, then stay away, because it's how the game is purposefully designed. I've seen people complain that the game is unbalanced or unfair, but that's not true at all; you aren't meant to win all the time, or even most of the time! The way I see it is this: if you were a real archer descending into a dungeon, what would you put your odds at defeating a huge dragon? The luck/dice frustration is very similar to Tharsis, so if you love that game, you will love this. If you hate that game, you will hate this. That being said, this is an excellent port of the tabletop game! It makes it even easier and faster to understand skill interactions and the basic rules (like armor boxes have to be covered first etc.); since it is still not the full release, there's no campaign yet, or a full-fledged tutorial, but you could just read the rules after all. Right after I downloaded it I played the dragon's lair (first dungeon) three times in a row with the archer. The first go, I died after reaching the boss, the second, on the very first floor, and the third, I handily beat the dragon with little trouble. I highly highly recommend this game to anyone who likes these dice management strategy games, and anyone who likes quick dungeon crawler rpgs!. compelling!. The core concept is interesting and fun but for me it just has so little replay value. It's a quick time filler but nothing to get excited about.Certain classes will want to avoid some enemies and traps etc and be fine with others. Ultimately it comes down to pure random which of these come up and then (especially early when you have less abilities) it becomes pure random if you win or lose the ones you choose to go to.The different dungeons dont have different traps or enemies, just a different "passive" ability for being there and a different end boss, this doesnt really give a unique feel to them. It also feels like some of the harder ones are literally impossible without having leveled up a class and being really lucky, rather than being tactical. But to level up the classes is just a chore of playing them over and over. The classes dont really get any unique abilities as such, just different ways to obtain a black dice. You can play as 2 classes at the same time but for me that doesnt add anything to the game for me just makes it more complicated.I got it on sale and technically got my moneys worth as played 5 hours, but those hours were not as fun as if I had just played games I already owned again.. I only know Handelabra for their ports of card/board games. You can find plenty of reviews of the physical version of One Deck Dungeon that are much better than I could write. I will say that I've played several adventures with it and even on novice it's *way* harder than I expected.Full disclosure: I participated in the Kickstarter for this game, and received my Steam Key via that campaign. The implementation of this game isn't as good as Sentinels of the Multiverse, which is the only other game I've played from them. Sentinels is impeccably implemented, but One Deck Dungeon has a lot of rough edges. The good news is that I think these will be fairly easy to smooth out and this is a new release so I'm hopeful that we'll see something addressing them soon. I'll update my review as I see things addressed. Here are my gripes with the current version:1. Maxes out my CPU and GPU (quad-core i7, GTX 1070) even when sitting idle. Definitely needs some optimization here. This is the kind of game I'd love to play for hours on the lowest power mode of my laptop but right now it just burns the battery down.2. The tutorial is a little light and not great about pointing out what various sections of the game are.3. The documentation is also a little lacking. I still don't know what the "General Pool" is, even after reading about it. I also screwed up spending some of my progression points because I wasn't clear about what the check marks meant.4. Interactions with the dice seem like they might work alright on a touch screen, but with the mouse it's really tedious to drag all the dice around.5. There doesn't seem to be a way to "swap" a die once it's on a square. Since this game is kind of about optimizing how you spend your roll, sometimes you have to iterate a bit to figure it out. On most blocks it's no big deal. Remove the old one, add the new one. But on the armor blocks it's much harder. You can't swap in the one you want without undoing other stuff you're already sure won't change.I am a little disappointed this doesn't have controller support, but I'm sure it would take a lot of UI work to get support for a game with so many fiddly bits so I won't fault Handelabra too hard for that. All that said, I do think it's a faithful and fun implementation of a game that has an amazing amount of depth for the simple mechanics. Overall, I would still recommend it. Just know that it's still in need of a little polish. Official Release Date: May 18: One Deck Dungeon will be leaving Early Access and entering retail release on Friday, May 18th. Additionally, the mobile release will happen 5 days later, on May 23rd on iTunes and Google Play. The retail price of the game will be $9.99 (USD) across all platforms.A huge thanks goes out to all those who participated in Early Access. The game is so much better as a result of your thorough playtesting and feedback, both in terms of little things like visual polish, or big things like the undo feature. We couldn't have done it without you!The first of the DLC dungeons (Phoenix's Den) is now in testing, and the first DLC hero (Fanatic) will be in testing soon. You can read more about our mobile plans on our Kickstarter update. One More Thing.
